Like taking a bite out of a velvety smooth chocolate confection, our Chocolate Truffle tea is truly a chocolate lover's dream. Our rich Ceylon black tea is blended with cocoa nibs, chicory, chocolate chips, and even a dash of cocoa powder to create our most lusciously decadent indulgence yet.

Chocolate chip ingredients include organic cane sugar, organic chocolate liquor (cocoa mass), and organic cocoa butter.

Serve hot or cold, any time of the day.

Category: Black Tea

High Level of Caffeine

Ceylon black tea, cocoa nibs, chicory, chocolate chips, and cocoa powder

Suggested ratio of tea preparation is one teaspoon of leaves per 8 ounces of water. However, light and voluminous teas will taste best with twice the leaves. Experiment and enjoy!

Use boiling water when preparing black, dark oolong and voluminous teas, and cooler (180F) water when steeping green, light oolong and white teas.

Do not steep your teas longer than recommended or it will turn bitter. The rule of thumb is 5 minutes for most teas, and only 3 minutes for green and light oolong.

Orders are shipped Monday - Friday. Orders placed before 2:00pm will ship same day.

  Tasting Notes

Chocolate Truffle brilliantly blends the smokiness of black tea with the richness of dark chocolate, delivering the aroma of an artisan chocolatier's shop.

Sipping our tea will bring an unmistakable richness to your palate, with uncompromised pureness leading to bitter decadence from start to finish.

If this tea's taste is overwhelming, mixing in milk will balance its bitterness with sweet creaminess, lifting the rich flavors. Adding some sugar or honey will also pair nicely, making a light hot chocolate tea.

This dessert tea will pair wonderfully with sweet and buttery treats, like cakes, muffins, and cookies. Their contrasting flavors will balance elegantly as you finish off your meal, leaving your stomach and spirit satisfied.
